We Use the Latest Technology, Including BIM and Trimble, to Save Time and Increase Accuracy
The BIM “Building Information Management” system begins with coordination of MEP installations, which allows a complete design of systems to be installed prior to fabrication. Once coordination is completed, spool drawings are created to pre-fabricate each system in sections at our facility. These sections are built and labeled then sent to the job site. A spool map shop drawing is created and sent with the fabrication. This drawing shows the order in which to install each section. This will ensure a much faster installation time without sacrificing quality.
To save time and increase accuracy on the job site, we also utilize the Total Station from Trimble. Utilizing the Total Station we are able to streamline the construction lifecycle by improving communications and collaboration. Clash detection helps everyone identify problems in advance and provide fixes for both architecture and structure. This saves time and frustration during the project cycle.
From design to planning to site-prep, everyone is updated as the project progresses. You’ll see time, materials, resources and staff. It’s almost like being there. Trimble lets us build more accurate and profitable projects. Our trained in-house draftsmen are also using the latest version of Navisworks AutoCAD on state-of-the-art IT systems. We can forward drawings with a push of a button to owners or engineers. We will also incorporate any changes made during construction to provide As-Built drawings for future modification to the site.
